Parking Service Agent vehicles are equipped with battery boosters to assist you with a dead battery. In addition, University Police will offer to call a tow truck, a service for which you will be financially responsible.

FLAT TIRE * |
Parking Service Agent vehicles are equipped with air compressors and lug nut wrenches to assist you with a flat tire. Additionally, University Police will offer to call a tow truck if needed, a service for which you will be financially responsible.

FUEL |
University Police will offer to call a tow truck if you need fuel at your expense. They will also, upon request, place a phone call to a friend or relative who may be able to provide assistance.

DE-ICING * |
Parking Service Agent vehicles are equipped with de-icer during the winter months to assist you with frozen doors and locks.
HOW TO REQUEST SERVICES
Between 2:30p.m. – 11:00p.m. you may contact the University Police at 650-3324 for assistance. A Parking Service Agent will then be dispatched to your location. University Police are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
* NOTE: For a
Parking Service Agent to provide services indicated by an asterisk (*), you will
be expected to sign a waiver absolving the University of liability should your
vehicle be accidentally damaged.

All of these services are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Lockout assistance and escort services are dependent upon the availability of an officer, however.

EDWARDSVILLE
MOTORIST ASSISTANCE

Parking Service Agents' (PSA) vehicles are equipped with battery boosters to assist you with a dead battery. Also, University Police will offer to call a tow truck if needed at your expense. During Fiscal Year 06, 522 jumpstarts were provided.
| ESCORT |
If you feel unsafe walking between the main campus and your vehicle or apartment, contact University Police to request an escort. An officer will either provide a ride or accompany you to your destination. During Fiscal Year 2006, 146 escorts were provided.
| FLAT TIRE * |
PSA vehicles are equipped with air compressors and lug nut wrenches. Also, University Police will offer to call a tow truck to assist you at your expense. During Fiscal Year 2006, 66 tire assists were provided.
| FUEL |
University Police will offer to call a tow truck to assist you if you need fuel at your own expense. They will also upon request, place a phone call to a friend or relative who may be able to provide assistance.
| LOCKOUTS * |
University Police will attempt to unlock your vehicle. If an officer cannot gain access, University Police will offer to call a locksmith at the owner's expense. During Fiscal Year 06, 661 people were assisted.
| DE-ICING * |
Parking Service Agents carry cases of de-icer in their vehicles during the winter months and will assist you with frozen doors and locks.

Individuals in need of any of these types of assistance may contact University Police by phone at 650-3324 or by pushing the "Info" button on the emergency phones located throughout the parking lots on the Edwardsville campus.
All of the above services are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Lockout assistance and escort services are dependent upon the availability of an officer, however.
