Business is conducted at the SIUE
Branch Post Office as at any other
federal Post Office offering the same services. This unit
is governed and must adhere to all United States Postal Service (USPS) regulations and
laws. SIUE Mailing Services is comprised of three entities:
The SIUE Branch Post Office was established
by the University and the United States Postal Service on March 2,
1970.
The Campus Mail
Center accommodates needs of the University units for the distribution of
interoffice communication, department circulars and bulletins. The service
also delivers U.S. and campus mail to and from Alton and East St. Louis
campuses.
The Standard Mail Center
(SMC) meets the University's needs for assistance with large
U.S. mailings qualifying for standard mail rates.
